Aims & Objectives :

Increase understanding of the influences of culture and faith/belief systems on parenting;

Display confidence in talking about their own and other people’s attitudes and beliefs – and how these might affect their judgment when providing services and therefore explore the role of bias in decision making;

Demonstrate cultural competence and professional curiosity when leading or joining in assessments or offering any other services to children and their families;

Understand the legislation and procedures for safeguarding;
